We "Crushed It" At Golden Hill!

Golden Hill3 5.9.15Being a bit out of the way, Golden Hill doesn’t normally get much love, but last Saturday May 9th, the woods were ringing as ten hearty volunteers, two full-size dump trucks, one chain saw, three leaf blowers, two string trimmers, “Travis” the Muck Truck and probably fifteen barrels of elbow grease all turned up at the Golden Hill trail work day.

Locally-sourced rock and crushed stone were used to armor the wet climb out of the Chapman Rd. cul-de-sac and the end result was a huge improvement to a perennial problem area. Big thanks go out Jack Kramer at Ellicottville Landscaping for the use of his TWO dump trucks to bring the stone to the worksite. Anyone who’s ever tried to shovel
