still plenty skiable. christian was pretty icey but that's where i started so who knows what it's like now that the sun's been out. lotsa double poleing. things started getting softer on sweetwater and beyond. the snow was perfect for making snowmen. tracks are still good and coverage remains complete (skied everything except the snake). if anyone's afraid of ridge, now might be the time to try it as downhills aren't very fast at all. _________________ *bleep* it, dude. let's go riding.

Today (4/3) was my first day on these trails. I was impressed with the speed (even if I ended up biking up the mountain most of the day) Except for a few wet spots, the trails were dry and lots of fun. Can't wait until the leaves are cleared.

a smaller size cowbell was lost going down ridge at breakneck speed a week ago. would appreciate it's return. will be camping in the park (and, thus, riding the trails) later in july, you could just hang the bell on a tree and i'd probably find it. _________________ *bleep* it, dude. let's go riding.
