Its surprisingly wet in the few areas they haven't turnpiked on the southern, public land section. The woods are being very very slow to dry from that month of wet weather. The wet spots are starting to get really torn up and widened though...
Mountain Bike Trail Description
Description: the trail is 24 miles in total length, , some crossing private land, so respect the signs, some really good and challenging single track, very nice climbs and descents. Not as technical as Eville, but more so than Allegheny. one side will lead down to Chaut. Gorge, have fun going back up. It's drier than the East side trail, some camping spots along the way, check out the maps.
Directions: Take 474 out of Panama ( about 2 miles, parking lot on your right) or head out 430 from Mayville( about 2 miles) parking lot on your left, trail either side of the road.
