| Welcome |
 Singletrack.
That's what it is all about. Miles and miles of narrow, dry,
technical, all-natural singletrack. A beautiful 12-inch wide
strip of dirt, rocks, logs and roots threading through the forests,
fields, and hills of Western New York. That's what we dream of and
live for. Without it, our lives are not whole.
But unlike a new front fork or a replacement derailleur, you can't just
run down to the your local bike shop and pick up a new stretch of
singletrack. And you can't
mailorder singletrack!
No, there's only one path to singletrack. That is for us to
organize and work with land managers to
open trails to bicycles, (legally!)
build new trails, and get together to celebrate and enjoy the
results we achieve.
Can you live without
singletrack? If you can't - join us
to help keep it real. |

Gear Up Mountain Sports is happy to announce our new Rocky Mountian bike rental / retail store located in Ellicottville, NY at Holimont.
I would like to offer our help in any way we can in preperation for and during this weekends festival. We have spent some time the past two weeks cleaning up trails on our property, cutting back brush, deadfall, mowing and building some bridges over wet areas.

Yes this is a kids ride led by a nurse and a school teacher. It can't get any better than that!
Meet at the main parking lot, off of Foote road, by the restrooms at 10 a.m. on Tuesday 7/13.
Bring helmets, water and a bike that is in reasonably good shape.

WNYMBA's 4th group ride of the year is at Golden Hill on July 11th, 10 a.m.. Brian Orwat (716 430 2664) is the main ride leader for this ride event. We'll have different ride leaders for different rider abilities. So, come one, come all.
