Welcome
Singletrack.  That's what it is all about.  Miles and miles of narrow, dry, technical, all-natural singletrack.  A beautiful 12-inch wide strip of dirt, rocks, logs and roots threading through the forests, fields, and hills of Western New York.  That's what we dream of and live for.  Without it, our lives are not whole.

But unlike a new front fork or a replacement derailleur, you can't just run down to the your local bike shop and pick up a new stretch of singletrack.  And you can't mailorder singletrack!

No, there's only one path to singletrack.  That is for us to organize and work with land managers to open trails to bicycles, (legally!) build new trails, and get together to celebrate and enjoy the results we achieve.

Can you live without singletrack?  If you can't - join us to help keep it real.

WNYMBA News: Eagle Trail work day this Saturday, May10th
Posted: Bill R @ Mon May 05, 2008 3:12 pm
I'd like to meet at the top of the trail this next work day. We will meet on McCarty Hill East Forest Road at the grassy log landing about a half mile or so before the turn around. I will also post directions at our normal meeting spot.

Be sure to bring goves, and cover your legs and arms because we will be clearing underbrush.

Jon, could you add a map to point out where we will be meeting?

Join us for the 1st trail day of the year at Sprague Brook at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday the 26th rain or shine. We'll be building a new uphill / downhill single track that parallels the snow mobile trail.

Meet at the parking area next to the bridge which crosses the creek which is to your left as you enter the park. You won't need to bring anything other than your enthusiasm; tools and lunch provided by WNYMBA and as usual we will ride after the trail work.

See you there
