Great conditions today. A few blow downs on Foote rd sections. No hanky panky witnessed.

The rain had almost no effect on the trails.

To the guy who had his girlfriend bent over the picnic as I cut through the lower campground, sorry I interrupted your "flow", but take that stuff somewhere else. This isn't Hunters Creek :o :o

That's unfortunately true.

The creek is probably chocolate milk and raging right now too.

The trails don't get much better than they are right now.

The variety of ways to get to the bottom on the west side is pretty awesome now too.

Yes, please wait about 2 weeks at least after snow melt. It is supposed to be relatively nice this weekend, but it will be a good time to get some road miles in, not dirt miles.

As our kiosk says, typically the trails are ready around tax time, sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

Last year was a "sometimes earlier" year.

This year is a "sometimes later" year.

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
