The loop is in good shape, a few small mud holes that will probably shrink a lot with todays wind. The re route is not bad, can't complain.

Has anyone considered doing some major bench cut above the 4 wheeler playground right at mile mark 1.5? Maybe rent a mini excavator and it could be done in a day. It's always a mud pit at the bottom and it's not fun riding up or down such a short steep hill.

Cold wet and yes there was some snow this morning at the brook. The creeks are pretty high.

I'm with you. The flow will be better but that spot was a good test on the skills. It's been debated to fix the Hump too.

I have mixed feelings about the re route where the go around was. I was hiking and clearing face slappers not riding so time will tell. :-P

Heavy steady rain from about 6:30am to 9 this morning. I would give it a day or two to dry.

If you opted out of riding the brook tonight because of the rain you really missed out. Rode in the sun from about 6 until it set. Tacky dirt all around with a few slick roots to keep you on your toes. Just a few spots of standing water on the west side. Honestly, some of my favorite conditions to ride in.
