I say who gives a sh!t of some dude doesn't want to wear a helmet. It's not going to hurt anyone else but him if he crashes.

It's your melon dude!
I have no beef with you not wearing a helmet, I was just criticising your "a helmet is unnecessary" comment.

For 99% of us, it's the most necessary piece we use.

I prefer my soft padded blue wrestling mask! :D

Ok here, everyone is jealous of your strong conviction to display your manliness by constantly claiming to not need a helmet...k? Get over yourself, many people ride without helmets they just aren't so attention starved that they feel a need to educate the public about their habits.

#1 I'm not the one that brought it up.

#2 This is the last thing I wanted to talk about in this thread. I was trying to talk about Letchworth.

#3 All of you can mind your business when it comes to my helmet wearing status.

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
