It does seem that many riders prefer CCW (which is way easier imo). But the other night I rode with Jon and he like me always starts CW. I like to hit the overlook ridge climb early as a good warmup.

Everybody must have ridden counter-clockwise because there were tons of cars in the lot with bike racks, but we didn't see another soul.

It was really nice tonight! There is a blowdown on the climb from the dirt road to skunk ridge blocking whole trail. I managed to cut out most of the smaller stuff so you can walk over, but it needs more cutting. The tree was alive when it fell over so the wood is wet and put up quite a fight against my little backpack saw. I think my saw has reached it's lifespan and has to be replaced asap.

I hate the hump and it takes great pride in knocking me over.

Which lot? The main lot was pretty full of cyclists last night. Did you park at the XC ski hut?

People don't seem to go alot during the week I've noticed. Rode on Tuesday and there were only a few other cars in the lot. Rode last Saturday and the place was bumping!
