This is just trickle down from the XX1 drivetrain... there's really nothing new here except a lower price point and a few more grams.

Well this is interesting. Look at what SRAM unveiled today.

As much as I don't like the idea of going to 11 speed, I do like that it's designed from the ground up to be a 1x11.

Look at the range of gears on the cassette.......10-42!!!!!

It also looks like the teeth on the rings are cut deeper, so you don't have to run any kind of chain guide.

The 1970's: No knee pads, helmets, brakes, or over cautious soccer mom's. It's just how we rolled...
