As you mention, it goes through a swamp. And not just any swamp, but a registered DEC wetland. It is as remote a part of the park as there is. Plus treated wood is expensive. Between HC and SB, there are many more worthwhile projects.

Is there any way that the secondary trail between intersection 20 & 29 in the North West corner of the park could be made rideable? It's a nice stretch and link up between two loops (yellow and blue) except for those two or three really wet swampy areas. It would just need a couple of 30'-45' long sections of decking, like is installed in several other sections of the park.
