rode today and the trail is as dry as I've ever seen it not unexpectedly as we've not had any significant rain recently.

I did see two guys in a golf cart riding east side at "the ditch".

This is my first time out this year so I'm sure others have already encountered this already, but there is a bunch of large rocks and more water than I ever recall seeing at the bottom of the quick down/up located on west side. If you are traveling counter clockwise from the kiosk at the 5 mile mark and heading back up the snowmobile road, then take a left back onto the new loop. it is just after you make a hard left onto the down/up. Sorry, only way how I know to describe it. There is a relatively new campsite on the right, just before you head down. I usually fly down that so I don't have to climb much up other side but this time hit a line of large rocks which nearly f'd my rim. fortunately I stayed on my bike.

Anyway, the trail is in spectacular shape and hope to see everyone out on wed for group ride. chow

Anyone have a report on Sprague Brook so far this year? I'd like to know before I head down there later this week.

Rode the loop yesterday. I was surprised to see how poor the conditions were on the top side. I have not seen them that bad in years. Some parts were really trashed.

Does anyone know if anything might be rideable tomorrow?

The main 10 mi loop was swampy upon entering.
I diverted to the inner and outer loops which were both dry with pockets of small mud patches. I ride a fat bike that rolled right though. My friend rode his Standard 2" wheels that still made it through with little issue.
However the mud patches were so condensed that a rider could easily ride right around the edges to minimize exposure.

Rode the race loop last night. There were sections that were pretty dry. However, other sections were VERY muddy and wet. It is very hit and miss in the race loop area. I have not rode the upper sections yet this year, so it could be drier up there.
