The rain last week has left the snow with a breakable crust making backcountry skiing all but impossible. Dirt forest roads from the end of Rain Trial to HV out to Little Rock City are packed down by snowmobiles and make for great skiing or fat bike riding.

Skiing is fantastic on snowmobile trails behind Holiday Valley. Good skating all the way to Little Rock City.
