TOPIC: Ride - Wed. May 1st

Ride - Wed. May 1st 11 months, 4 weeks ago #43933

Hi All,

Anyone riding in Ellicottville or Sprague Brook tomorrow?

I was hoping to ride E-ville and I've never been there and a guide may help. Plus as the thread says, better than riding alone.

I'm thinking 3 or 4 but if a group is riding and people have to work I could wait until 5 or 6.

Post up and let me know.

-Jeff

Dang. I gotta be in Erie for 10.
I was hoping to meet up on the way back to Canada when business is done.

Hey, Jeff. I might be able to do it. I ran it by my wife but she's still thinking it over. I actually have experience hosting neighbors from the north at mccarty hill from that warm snap back in march 2012. I can come up with a route as difficult or really difficult you'd like

Bennymack, don't ask. Tell.
Alright, I'm not sure of my exact ETA but if 5 works for everyone that's cool.

I'll also need directions to the meeting spot.

EDIT - I prefer to meet at 3 if that's best for you guys.

Re: Ride - Wed. May 1st 11 months, 3 weeks ago #43947

I can do 3pm. I usually start from Eagle Hill. Let me know if you already found someone 'cause I'll probably just hit the brook otherwise Stop by EVL bike and bean for a map if you would like to follow along with trail names, etc. while riding.

What a great ride. Really sweet trails you guys built there. Everytime we finished a trail I would think it was better than the last.

I did underestimate how physical it would be and got my ass kicked a little bit. Started the day slightly dehydrated, only had 1 bottle and it was hot this afternoon. The last hour was tough. But of course the descent down Eagle was amazing.

I did missed out on the burrito Wade-o. Next time.
