I just ordered some headlights and am interested in trying them out. With the hunters wrapping up at dusk the woods should be empty in the evening. I don't get around much so I'm not familiar with different park hours, or even if there are hours at the trails.

Another somewhat related question - has anyone had any luck riding fat bikes on snowmobile trails with snowmobile club permission around here?

I know these forums don't get visited as much anymore so not sure how much in the way of feed back I'll get on this but it seems like this would be fairly basic and akin to not throwing your granola wrapper on the trail, but I could be wrong.

As a side note, before I began my ride I met with a few hikers just coming in down by the training center parking lot. They said they encountered a person(s) who were small game hunting. The hunter(s) stated that it was permissible as they were on State land. I can not confirm whether this is legal or not, but just want to throw it out there that there is already hunting going on.]]>
