Is it just me, or does this bother other people? The club works really hard to maintain the trails and we do our best to not ride in conditions that destroy the trails then a race organization sends racers out to do laps in those conditions just because there is money involved. Even the spin in their race wrap-up is annoying. www.heartrateup.com/6hoursofpower71314.html

I may be getting old, slow and grouchy, but this pissed me off. The trails that they run the course on are in the worst condition of all the trails in EVL and they are largely to blame. ]]>

Subject: Mtb shoes for sale - try-outs 'til I figured size - by: BrianB http://www.wnymba.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=30&id=44733&Itemid=146#44733 http://www.wnymba.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=30&id=44733&Itemid=146#44733
1 - Specialized Comp size 43 mountain bikes shoes worn 4 times before deciding they were too big and roomy for my foot, mostly in the heel. Very comfy insole, Shimano cleats mounted. $150

2 - Sidi Genius 5 size 42.5 mtb shoes worn twice on canal path rides before deciding they were too big. Average width, equivalent to a US size 9. Pretty much new. Very stiff sole. $220

The Specialized shoe seems suited for a normal to slightly wide foot. The Sidi's are for average to narrowish feet. I ended up with a 42 Sidi.
