Today's daily video outtake

Dennis did a great job as our Bell Built video star, and many thanks to Holiday Valley's Ashley for putting it all together.  Bell used it right as we submitted rather than making it from various clips.  But we still provided them with additional clips and stills per their request; they just never were used.  Now, they will see the light of day.

For our first outtake, here is our very own Toddler explaining why you need to vote!

Keep those votes coming - They count!

Heard lots of stories of rounding up votes on Day 2.  Great Job!

Yes, we know the vote totals don't seem to be updating when new people vote.  But your vote still counts.  We are sure the numbers will move again soon.  This is the third of three BellBuilt elections, so all the kinks should be worked out.

We have also had some reports of delayed receipt of the confirmation e-mail.  Remember, the vote doesn't count if you don't click on the link in that e-mail.  Some people have reported delays of 20-30 minutes before this arrives, so keep checking.  There have been a few reports of no confirmation link coming through.  If that happens, check your spam folder or trash folder to see if your spam filter misidentified it.  If it never comes, fire off an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. The central region voting winner needed 12,000 votes to take the prize, so we have our work cut out for us.  Keep up the great work and spread the word!

Think your Vote Doesn't Count? Think again.

I've been watching the vote total tonight rise from 900-something to 1200-something.

The lead has never been more than 10 votes the whole time!

WNYMBA and one other competitor are pulling away from the rest of the pack.  What do you do when you're on a climb and it is just two of you dicing it out?  Sit back and relax?  I don't think so!  It's all about getting to the top of the hill first.  Channel that thought and think of everyone you know.  Have you asked them to vote yet?  Have you asked them to ask their friends to vote yet?  Don't let him beat you to the top of the hill!

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
